New Course - Bricks 4 Kidz
Bricks 4 Kidz® courses ensure your children have loads of fun (and learn too!) as they use LEGO® bricks to explore the world of engineering, maths, science and architecture in an open and friendly environment. Children further develop problem solving and critical thinking skills and once the project is completed, they use the rest of their time to collaborate with one another through creative free play.
Instructional content includes concepts of friction, gravity and torque, scale, gears, axles and beams. Sessions will vary depending on age, experience and skill level.
Every child builds their own custom made LEGO® mini–figure to play with each day and take home at the end of the week!
Please click here to visit the Bricks 4 Kidz website for more details of potential course content.
New Course - Baseball
Baseball and Softball are Olympic sports which are becoming increasingly popular with children of all ages. Run in conjunction with Tonbridge Baseball Club and Kent Knights Youth Baseball, boys and girls of all abilities are invited to participate in this fun and exciting team sport!
The course is run by former GB National Baseball Team player and qualified coach Jon Carter who has a wealth of experience playing and coaching in the UK and USA. Children will learn the rules and techniques of hitting, throwing and catching, working towards playing a full game at the end of the week. Equipment is provided, so it’s easy to get into the swing of things whether you’ve played before, or are a complete beginner!
We hope that you enjoy browsing this edition of Recre8 Tonbridge and look forward to welcoming you on to a Recre8 course soon. Please do get in touch if you have any questions.
